You were asked to do several things outside of class last week.  At this point, please bring the work to your instructor--the drawings and sketches you created outside of class. 

You will now be asked to create work based on the work from outside of class. It is hoped that you will be able to use the information to create designs of your own.

Create a picture from the list below--choose three numbers and then look at the list below.  Go out onto Google and find pictures which may be combined to create a picture using those three elements. This can be realistic or a bit unusual in nature.  Call this Montage 1

Take the following list of elements and use them to create a picture using Photoshop CS4 to manipulate and organize those elements into a unique arrangement.  Use a minimum of 6 of the elements but you may use as many as you want beyond the 6 and you may add more.

Allow the shapes to overlap, feather them, use the  opacity tools, use the filters, add text if you desire--use your creative abilities to make this interesting.

Add appropriate text to your design.  Think of this from an artistic point of view.

After you have created a picture from the list above, create a new picture in which you create one picture .
